I was just randomly cruising through the paintings on Trunkt when I came across the work of the Artist Shayla Maddox. There is something ethereal and magical about her paintings that I really like. Plus, I adore the connection her paintings make to the natural world by changing with the seasons and the character of light. Beautiful!
"I make Light Reactive Paintings. Light itself changes the color and effect of each piece.

They will look different throughout the day (and year) and in all forms of light.

My art is also UV reactive and glows in the dark."

Shayla Maddox is one cool chica!

Thank you for sharing her with us!!
Magical...
Thank for letting us discover her, it's fabulous :)
Gorgeous paintings!
I HEART Shayla's work! What I love most about art is that I am often not able to describe how it makes me feel....this is the perfect example. It is a feeling, and experience such as joy, but so much more. Thank you for exposing us to so many creative souls, like yourself!
Thanks everyone so much for the kind words and great feature! :o) Such a great highlight to my weekend! I'm truly honored.

They're lovely! My favourite painting was Edvard Munk's 'Solen' (the sun) - and these paintings are obsessed with light. Thanks for sharing these.
