I declared that today is Connie Day!
I think everyone should declare a day to themselves--
no rules,
no priorities,
no work of any kind,
no rushing around
at LEAST once a week!
(And I do NOT apologize for the poor video quality...because today is Connie Day!)

That is the exact journal I just started in today! How fun. I have only GM'd( gel medium) my first 2 pages, then celebrated Conor's 11th B-Day! More to follow tomorrow, with pic's. LOVE to you! xoxo
I wholeheartedly agree...everyone should have a me day per week. I started doing that a few years ago and then fell off the wagon...this is just the kick in the butt I needed to remind me to get back to that!! :)
Have a great day for you! I do this every few weeks if I can, when my husband is not home I just do internal work, play, putz around etc..
I am also working in a Moleskine same one I think! I only had 3 other pages in it, as it's new and I was only doing my journaling prompts from my blog in an art journal way! I have been loving learning the new ways to play in mine through your class!
oh how i WISH i liked art journaling in moleskines, but i don't. i loathe it. i tried last year, figuring i would just get used to it (because they're such pretty books!) but what i found was that i just stopped journaling altogether. i finally set myself free of that book and i am SO much happier. my favorite art journal so far was one i made myself using samantha kira's easypeasy journal tutorial (journalgirl.com). shortly after that, i custom ordered one of her hardcover journals, and that's my current one. i loved it until i started working in it, and now it's messy and that makes me sad, because it used to be gorgeous. i prefer books that i don't mind "ruining", i guess -- so i'll be making my own using that tutorial from now on. :)
