Oh my gosh!! I just logged on and saw your email and went to click to contribute, but, WOW, I missed the whole thing. I, too, have had things stolen and it is just the worst feeling. I am so elated that so many generous lovelies helped you out and so quickly.
Hugs to both of you.
seriously could not LOVE your faces more... LOVE!!
xxo, kim
Love your faces ! And love that my own little contribution is a part of a sweet bigger loving thing !
Yay for all of us !
I've had my home robbed a few times in my life. It is such a horrible feeling. I just remember the EXACT moment that I realized something super important was stolen - when my heart stopped cold. I know that's how you both felt when you realized Hansel's camera was stolen and I just hate that you had to feel it. The other junk is an inconvenience and a great sadness that there are people in the world who don't care who they hurt. I'm so happy it all turned around and had a great ending - for all of us. ;-) Love - love - love!!!
INCREDIBLE! I was late to see the post & trying giving a little & the Chip In button was closed!
What an AMAZING clan of creatives we have surrounding us - always willing to help, the outpouring of love, always - - it's totally AWESOME & I am sooooo happy to be part of this family!!
You guys deserve every single penny!! YES!
Love to you! Skies full!!
PS You two are ADORABLE!
Wow! I read your post and than saw this. You give so much happiness to so many and now this is coming back to you in a beautiful way! I wish I had known I would have loved to be part of something so beautiful
Hi Connie and Hansel,
I am so sorry that I missed the opportunity to chip in. I felt my heart sink as it read about hansel's camera being stolen. I know that the thought of it happening to me is devastating. I love my camera! It would be like losing my right arm. Right Hansel? Anyway for now I offer you both big hugs and much love! All the best and thank you as always for sharing your lives in such an honest way. Ciao!
I hope Hansel can get back to photography right away.
Thanks for letting us help!
And YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
You are always the one that is reminding each one of us how much we are loved...I am glad that we, your friends, could take the opportunity to show you how much YOU and Hansel are loved, too. I love you bunches, Connie...and give Hansel my love, too. *Hugs*
Peace & Love Always,
~Barb~
The cost of one camera: $450. The look on your faces: priceless!
I've been thinking about this all day and what has struck me is the fact that you both have taken this Hug leap and that one of the obstacles that holds so many of us back is fear we might now have enough. A powerful lesson that abundance is our nature and that we will be supported. So the teaching: trust in abundance and never leave your camera in the car (a version of "tether your camel and trust in Allah.")
seriously, great shot!
i meant to type "might not have enough" ... although good typo, might now have enough ... maybe that is a hidden fear?
I am not surprised by the generous folks that follow you. Get the best darn camera you can, my friends!!!! Yea For Support!!!
I'm was sooooo happy to hear that you reached your goal and even more than that! And the look on both your faces is priceless! Whoever says the Internet is a cold place, where people don't really care about each other, and where you can't connect with people clearly has never seen the power of the Internet. Your blog and Twitter were buzzing about what happened to the both of you, and it took no time at all for people to chip in and reach your goal. Well done!
