Fairy Tale Ending

One night, when I was in my early twenties, I was leaving a club super late at night. We're talking around 3:30ish am--and here I am walking the streets of downtown Cleveland by myself to my car.

When out of nowhere, a man with a horse drawn carriage pulled up next to me and asked if he could give me a ride....for free...since a young woman shouldn't be walking the streets at that hour.

I pretended that I had no idea where my car was. Or maybe, I really didn't know.

But I rode under the stars in a horse drawn carriage like a princess.

Out of nowhere that memory came rushing back to me as I sit here in a coffee shop trying to think of what to write.

Out of nowhere our fairy tale ending can suddenly appear. Out of nowhere our dreams can manifest.

There is no reason to keep wishing for the little things.... I believe there are other horse drawn carriages that are waiting for me and will appear out of nowhere.

Thank you for this reminder! I love knowing the magic is everywhere.
Once upon a time, I was walking to a concert at the hollywood bowl and I needed to cross a very busy street but couldn't. Suddenly a limo pulled up and offered me a ride (The drivers daughters were in the back and told their dad to help me and my friend). I got to pull up to the concert like a rock star.
There are definitely other rock star and fairy princess moments awaiting me!

Oh thank you for this!
We must all be reminded to not be afraid when it seems too magical, too good to be true, too fabulous. Don't deny it! Jump in that carriage or limo or glass slipper and know that this is how it is supposed to be.

Thank you to you and the wonderful commenters. We all need to believe this, and know it's possible, and to not be afraid. thank you.

I believe so, too. For all of us...if we only open up to the ride and not close ourselves off from the opportunity, right? *HUGS*

(Thank you & Hansel for the amazing and beautiful card/photo. It is now framed and hanging in my living room...it is now one of my prized possessions.)

Peace & Love,
~Barb~

What a beautiful and magical post. And I loved that it didn't really involve anyone but you (aside from the awesome carriage driver:)). Fairy tales can come true even when you are single:)
