To the little spaces between my toes...
to the gap between my teeth...
to the crease that appears around my waist when i turn a certain way...
to the grey hairs that are taking camp behind the tops of my ears and around my forehead...
to my misshaped un-manicured finger nails...
to my lazy eye that appears when I haven't had enough sleep...
to the little thoughts that creep around my heart and try to taint it with insecurity...
to the memories I still hold hostage as the dominant truth of me...
to the dreams that are still waiting for their turn to breathe....
to the little parts of me that I think is ok to neglect....
to the quiet space of my soul that I long to reconnect with.
