The second sweetness is actually bitter sweet....after some great reflection, I've decided to retire my online workshop Art Journal LOVE Letters at the end of November. This is a self paced, four week workshop--so if you've been wanting to be a part of it--come on over!!

Go HERE for more information and to register!!

(Registration closes on Halloween!)

I'm not happy to see Art Journal Love Letters close down. I know it's not easy to decide to do that. But I garee if ya close this down more juicy, wonderful Ideas will explode. I have 5 more days of work & it's on with finishing my Art Journal Love. Working 7 days a week for 101 days straight is rough. I'll definately need the creative release that's been held hostage by work. lol

Wishing ya a Beautiful day!
Love & Hugs, Poe

P.S. Beautiful journal and way to go on the Zine!

I'm sad to see the art journal LOVE letters closing down, I've recently started it and am having a blast with it. However I get that you want to move on to new endeavors.

I picked up the e-Zine today and it is amazing. I can't wait to read it properly and use some of the ideas in my art journal.

Hugs,

Change happens...like the wind. And that's a good thing. We need to be changed in order to challenge ourselves, or perhaps it's the challenge itself that changes us...either way...what once worked we sometimes outgrow and that means growth in new directions. Whatever you do Connie it will be good...it always is!! Off to check out the zine and I'd love to win this journal!!

Totally ecstatic for your growth here. I know I've only been following you around on the internet for a little over a year, but even so, I feel like I'm watching this awesome unfolding, birthing, beauty, I refrain from the term 'grown-up' and instead say- coming into your own. I Love reveling in the inspiration of your growth :) Thanks for letting us in. And HAPPY SEPTEMBER!!! <--this is the rockin' start of an awesome month♥

So maybe it isn't such a bad thing you're closing down Love Letters, it has given me a new start ;-)

The summer has been a little quiet in my art journal. I have been enjoying the outdoors, spending a lot of time with friends and family, etc so it hasn't been the daily practice that it comes to be in the winter time - but I have learned that THAT IS OKAY ! When I am away for too long, my artist soul gets itchy and I jump in ! My journal is my tool for living a good, mindful and creative life and it is there whenever I choose to pick it up. I got mega art journal LOVE !
Thanks and big love to you, Connie for the chance to win Robyn's luscious journal ! May September be the kindest month !

Sadly, I never got to do this but I have enjoyed seeing what everyone else has been up to concerning their own art journals. Looking forward to seeing what YOU are up to next. Ardith

This was an awesome post in all seriousness. I know how it feels when I shut down my classes from my studio. But you're right about something sprouting in it's place that will be juicier. Power to you Chicca

Wow, AJLL closing?!? Okay, then *rolls up her sleeves* time for me to get on it and really enjoy the workshop like I have meant to! I know you have so much going on and your life is changing right before our eyes, but be confident, trust in yourself above all, and the cycle of decline and renewal will bring you many new joys I am quite sure.

I <3 Robyn's journals-I mean really really really L-O-V-E them! The giveaway is sweet :)

What i love about art journaling is that it is a "no-stress" activity. It's all about playing. And if something doesn't look right, i can gesso over it or cover it up with collage - the options are endless!

Great giveaway! Thanks for the chance. I loved Art Journal Love letters , frankly it's how I started to really let go, explore and experiment in my art journal, so thank you! It's all part of the path and if it's not for you anymore then I understand that! I have been there done that!

Good luck with your next adventures Connie. I know life has chapters and this one is coming to an end for you. I wish you the best of success in all you do.

My art journaling really began with AJLL. I am very grateful.

I dig that journal by Robyn.

I am blaming Connie&AJLL for my new found art journaling obsession! Pens yesterday, a few more water soluble oil pastels today. . . Late, late nights letting my artistic self go full moon kinda wild! And,of course, an addiction to finding beautiful journals to channel all that energy into(& Robyn's journal is so BEAUTIFUL!).
I will miss AJLL,but understand, that nothing short of newly forming wings is what's involved in the decision. Now on to that zine. . .
Blessings,
Angela

Very inspiring, makes me want to reconnect and connect more deeply to my love for art journaling and I'm sure whoever wins it will use it with much love and joy.

I had hoped to do the art journal LOVE letters and now see it is closing down. Have been dealing with more than one health issue so I guess I missed it. Connie, I am hoping all of this if because of some positive other adventure you have planned!

I just downloaded my ezine and it is looking rather cool. I can't wait till tomorrow when I will have the time to go over every page at a slower pace.

I also signed up for the art class and am excited to get started on that.

Please sign me up for the drawing for that beautiful journal of Robyn Tipton's. I am going over to see what her class is all about! Many fun things!

Thanks Connie!

Well, I feel rather silly. I guess I should have looked at the workshop details a little closer. I see that it is still available for awhile! I may have to fit that into the schedule! lol

I saw this post and thought I should post, and never got around to it. Shame, shame, shame.

I'm really sad that you are closing down Art Journal Love Letters, but it is for a good reason. You are starting to fly in a different direction, and this was a stepping stone! This gives me all the more reason to get my butt off the couch and sign up before it disappears forever!

And that journal-wow, all I can say is yummy and Yes, please! That journal speaks to my nature loving soul. I would love to write and color and draw inside those pages. Trees, birds, cats, hamsters, flowers, the works!! I really hope that she picks me! My life would be complete! :)
