I've just been lounging here on my bed, with my doggie, reading blogs.
So many of us are dreamers, aren't we?
So many of us are letting go of things--in hope that the space will be filled with something else that will align us with our truest self.
So many of us want to feel alive, feel of use, feel creative, feel free.
What if we took time each day to simply honor where we are right now?
What if we took a moment to really relish in today?
What if we scheduled in to do something that would make today completely awesome--instead of doing something that will get you somewhere later?
What if we just started to let go of trying to get somewhere, to be something else, to even follow our dreams...just for a moment...just for a few minutes of our day?
What if we just decided that today is going to be just as great as it will be when your actually living your dreams.

Now these are brilliant "what ifs" -- I think I will adopt a few today...because there's nowhere I "want" to go...I felt like this yesterday as well...just relishing today and honouring what I'm doing now is enough, isn't it? Thanks for your wise thoughts!
Really trying to just relish the day...instead of always playing ketchup...;) Sorry, I couldn't resist !
Here's to being here now and living this moment to its juicy best. Hugs to you, Beautiful Connie !
What if indeed. It sounds beautiful but when I think about putting it into practicality (letting go of those to do's today and maybe tomorrow)...it feels like the world is going to fall apart.
Perhaps that's what needs to happen - and then we'll paint it back into an authentic, pretty living experience.
One where all have pizza. Yes, I'm still craving it.
I'm happy to say, I'm appreciating the wonderful sunny day and have enjoyed reading a "novel" on my patio. Such a wonderful feeling.
This is exactly what I'm working on in my life right now. Instead of wishing for some special someday, I'm working on enjoying this day... this moment. I'm starting to think that's the big secret I've been looking for all my life. Now to just put it into practice!!
that was very poetically put ms. connie
Thank you so much for this post. It really resonated with me and after reading it, I took a moment to just appreciate how my life is now. Thank you so so much Connie.
so weird! I actually wrote a whole page of "what if's" in my journal just yesterday....and they weren't what if I do that or get that....it was more filled with what if I let go of this or that!
Doing a lot of what if's, myself these days. ;-)
Peace & Love,
~Barb~
You make me realize how much, these days, I tend to loose my-self in: what my future will be like, what I should be doing...
Thank you for this post
All the best
Koah
