Lately, when Phoenix, Nyla, and I go out for our evening walk, I keep noticing the same three blue herons that come out to visit us.  I know that they are here to speak to me.  Guide me deeper. And so last night I had to paint them.  But what began with the intention to explore the blue heron's message , resulted in the painting you see here.  I'm not 100% certain she's finished.

Here's one of those herons I'm talking about.
Such an incredible bird.

Well, it's been a while since I visited your site. I am still working my way through your free e-course on painting BIG. I felt a nudge to watch one of your videos to do another painting...

It was a fun coincidence that tonight, just hours before logging on here, I had gone on a bike ride with my family and the stand out nature sighting for me (besides the beautiful fall trees!) was a blue heron... just walking through the oak trees. I stopped to look at this magnificent bird and showed my daughter.

I love coincidences ~ now I know I'm in the right place! blessings... Suzee

It seems (to me) that Mr. Heron has made it's way into your girl's hair, near the top. A definite heron eye and head, beak partially hidden in the hair strands, and the long neck going down the side of her face. Amazing what the muse can bring forth. Nice work! Haven't been here before. Nice to meet you. :)
