IGNITE is a ten month, highly intensive FEARLESS® Painting Teacher Training program designed to empower, transform, and IGNITE YOUR creative spirit, YOUR Artistic voice, and YOUR innate qualities and strengths as a teacher.
IGNITE is NOT a certification program.
You will NOT learn a formula or prescribed structure on how to teach FEARLESS® Painting.
Instead, IGNITE uses the FEARLESS® Painting Process as a vehicle to reveal your true mission as a teacher, to strengthen your confidence and voice as a leader, and to guide you on your own unique path to empowering, transforming, and igniting others‘ creative truths as well.
IGNITE will prepare you for all aspects of powerful teaching--from the mechanics of creating a successful lesson/workshop/retreat, to effective methods of teaching both in person and online, to building strong professional relationships and community, to learning the necessary essentials of making creative teaching your business.
The emphasis in IGNITE is placed on deepening and trusting one’s own innate wisdom and connection to Creative Source through theFEARLESS® Painting Process. This is how I teach. This is how I IGNITE others and have built my own self-sustaining, thriving business. In IGNITE I share everything I know and have learned from my 15+ years of professionally teaching Art, my deep, lifetime devotion to creating Art as a spiritual practice, and my years of being a creative entrepreneur.
Plus the best part of IGNITE is that you don’t have to make this journey alone! IGNITE is opened to 10 amazing women eager to radiate their own unique creative gifts and step fully into their intended role as a teacher/leader/healer. No matter if your creative interest or background is in the visual arts, music, dance, writing, the healing arts, or life coaching, IGNITE will empower you to voice your love and passion fearlessly and effectively to others.
But, IGNITE requires a deep commitment, dedication to doing your best, and a willingness to trust yourself as well as the process it takes to becoming a teacher that empowers, transforms, and IGNITEs others. Experience in FEARLESS® Painting is not required, but a sincere desire to better your life and the lives of others through creativity and true spiritual transformation is.

Here are the four segments of IGNITE:
Eleven Weeks (October 1 - December 16, 2012)
In this segment of the program the FEARLESS® Painter will explore what makes the FEARLESS® Painting Process so effective and develop clarity on how this practice resonates and shows up in their own life. As many FEARLESS® Painters know, FEARLESS® Painting isn't just about painting. Many FEARLESS® Painters are drawn to other materials and techniques other than paint but apply the FEARLESS® Painting Process form and philosophy to their practice. This will be an opportunity to deepen your own unique practice, strengthen your voice and confidence as a teacher, and begin to discover who your tribe is that you are here to inspire and reach.
Information to be covered:
- Confirming our devotion in life and how it speaks powerfully through us as teachers.
- Creating awareness of the lessons, gifts, and teachings that are ours to share.
- Embracing our creative voice as a teacher through what makes us come alive most.
- Developing a strong foundation for our mission as teachers.
- Strengthening our trust in our innate wisdom while deepening our connection to our Creative Source.
- Receiving a clear understanding of the philosophy and concepts that form the core of the FEARLESS® Painting Process and how they can be applied to all genres of creative teaching.
- An emphasis on creating a solid personal FEARLESS® Painting Practice.
Fifteen Weeks (January 8 - April 30, 2013)
In this segment of the program the FEARLESS® Painter will explore teaching tools, techniques, and methods that successfully inspire, engage, support, and transform one's students using their interpretation of the FEARLESS® Painting Process. From how to build an effective lesson to running an entire workshop or retreat will be learned. A focus on both in-person and on-line teaching will be covered.

- Defining what makes a successful teacher/ lesson/ workshop/ retreat.
- Discovering how intention guides successful teaching.
- Learning ways to create an experience instead of a class.
- Exploring the tools, techniques, and methods of successful online teaching.
- Exploring the tools, techniques, and methods of successful in-person teaching.
- Addressing teaching individuals with special needs and diverse backgrounds.
- Creating awareness and strengthening what innate strengths, gifts, and tools you already possess as a teacher.
- Building on the foundation of our mission as teachers.
- Developing trust and listening as the core of successful teaching.
- Teaching as a practice.
- An emphasis on teaching from the lessons you experience through your own FEARLESS® Painting Practice and life.
Six Days (Monday, May 6 - Saturday, May 11, 2013) at the Creative Life Center in Sedona, Arizona.
In this segment of the program the FEARLESS® Painter will meet in beautiful Sedona, Arizona for a six day intensive where the emphasis will be on developing a strong personal FEARLESS® Painting Practice, executing and intimately exploring the tools, techniques, and methods of teaching, and building confidence and trust in one’s own unique voice as both a valuable teacher and leader.
Information to be covered:
- Discovering powerful ways one’s personal FEARLESS® Painting Practice guides, inspires, and supports one’s teaching.
- Ways to cultivate discipline as well as clarity in regards to your life devotion that fuels your teaching.
- How to find inspiration and direction in nature, yoga, and meditation.
- Embracing and refining our teaching voice and style.
- Creating an experience instead of a class.
- Exploring ways to cultivate innate awareness of your student’s needs both as a group and individually.
- Applying skills and techniques to effectively setting up, supporting, and closing an in-person workshop.
- Lessons in being flexible, compassionate, in-tune, and FEARLESS® as a teacher.
Ten Weeks (May 21, 2013 - July 30, 2013)
In this segment of the program the FEARLESS® Painter will gain useful insight, experience, and confidence in building community around their own unique voice as a leader and teacher of FEARLESS® Painting. Each FEARLESS® Painter will receive the opportunity to create their own lessons and workshops that can be launched both online and in-person. Plus valuable information on marketing, the business basics of teaching, and teaching ethics will be covered.
Information to be covered:
- Self care, establishing professional boundaries, and defining your role as both a teacher and leader.
- Creating alignment between your individual values, interests, and own FEARLESS® Painting Practice needs while building and maintaining the business aspect of teaching.
- Developing various marketing tools both online and off that feel natural and organic to you.
- Creating a business plan without being all "businessy".
- Deciding on pricing.
- Your ethical and spiritual responsibilities as a teacher.
- Basic legal issues of teaching (trademark, copyright, release forms, contracts, taxes, legal assistance, privacy, becoming an LLC)
- Basic business issues of teaching (accepting payments, cancellation policies, advertising, bookkeeping, banking, purchasing supplies and creating an inventory, networking, mailing lists, scheduling, organizational skills, finding and scheduling space for retreats/workshops, working with designers)
- An emphasis on using the FEARLESS® Painting Practice as a guide and support in building your business as a teacher.

- Included in the Intensive: FEARLESS® Painting Teacher Training instruction, activities, and handouts, yoga, a daily opportunity to FEARLESS® Paint in beautiful Sedona, two guided hiking treks, four breakfasts, six lunches, beverages, and all art supplies.

- 3 thirty minute one-on-one mentoring phone calls that will be recorded so that you can download them and save them to your computer for a life time.

- 24/7 access to an online IGNITE classroom where you will grow, learn, share, and collaborate with fellow FEARLESS® Painting Teacher Trainees!
- Individualized feedback and support on all assignments and projects with unlimited email communication.

- A private FEARLESS® Painting Teacher Training Facebook group where you can connect with your fellow FEARLESS® Painting Teacher Trainees both during and after the Teacher Training is over.

YOUR INVESTMENT IN IGNITE
IGNITE is limited to 10 amazing women to insure that everyone receives individualized attention and support. IGNITE costs $4500.
(This does NOT include air, travel, lodging, and dinners during the 6-day Sedona, Arizona In-Person Intensive May 6 - 11, 2013. These are your responsibility, but by the time of the Intensive I'm sure you will have the opportunity to car pool and share lodging with your fellow Trainees.)

IGNITE has a payment plan opened to all women registering.
This is how it works:

❇After you make your deposit, from now until Monday, September 17, 2012 you are welcome to make as many payments towards your tuition as you wish---at whatever amounts you wish as well. Payments are accepted by credit card through PayPal, personal check, or money order.
❇After Monday, September 17, 2012 the difference that you owe on your tuition will be divided into 10 payments that will automatically and securely be deducted from your assigned credit card on the 15th of each month starting October 2012 through July 2013.

WHAT IS THE FEARLESS® PAINTING PROCESS AND DO I NEED EXPERIENCE AT IT TO REGISTER FOR IGNITE?
The FEARLESS® Painting Process is an intuitive painting process developed by Connie Hozvicka intended to deepen one's connection with Creative Source, ruthlessly trust in one's innate wisdom, and grow confidant as an Artist and/or creative soul. To learn more about the FEARLESS® Painting Process you can go HERE. You do not need experience at the FEARLESS® Painting Process to register for IGNITE, but I highly suggest you become acquainted with the basic philosophy before IGNITE starts October 1st. You can do so by taking my free online course Total Alignment or the first of my FEARLESS® Painting Adventuers: BIG.
DO I NEED TO BE A VISUAL ARTIST TO FULLY BENEFIT OR PARTICIPATE IN IGNITE?
No! Not at all! IGNITE is open to all those who have an interest or background in the Visual Arts, Music, Dance, Writing, the Healing Arts, and Life Coaching. What is needed to fully benefit from IGNITE is a desire to help empower, transform, and IGNITE others through your passions and innate strengths.
